In Chilean Tierra del Fuego we enjoy over 45 miles of private access on the Rio Grande, known for its famous run of large sea-run brown trout. Guests stay in the recently renovated Cameron Lodge located in THE headquarters of this working ranch. The Cameron is well-situated in the middle of our 20+ mile beat of river with excellent access to the rivers most productive pools as well as several tributaries and numerous lakes and lagunas. The lodge itself has three double bedrooms with private bathrooms and a comfortable living/dining room with a cozy fireplace. The menu includes regional Chilean meals rich in seafood, like king crab, mussels, scallops, ALL FROM the Punta Arenas REGION and, of course, the popular beef or lamb asado. Cocktails, like the typical Chilean "Pisco Sour", and the justifiably famous Chilean wines are served with dinner. The lodge itself has three double bedrooms with private bathroom and a nice living/dining room with a cozy fireplace-very welcome after a long days fishing!
Our expansive access, THE MOST OF ANY OPERATION ON THE RIVER, allows our guests to not only enjoy excellent fishing, but also to relax and soak in the spectacular natural beauty and solitude of this region of Patagonia. This is the place for trophy sea-run brown trout. |
